Known for over 30 years as the Italian Robinson Crusoe, the old man of Budelli is to be evicted from his island paradise. The hermit-like caretaker Mauro Morandi first ran into trouble in 2016, after his New Zealand backer lost his appeal and the private island was returned to public hands.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday held a press conference related to the coronavirus situation in the country and said that while the government is taking all possible measures to curb the virus, the public should also extend its cooperation.
He said that the government even took action against one of the top police officials for SOP violation and the assistance of the Pakistan Army has been sought, but everything should not be done by force; people should also cooperate and follow the coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) themselves.
